The Aurora Adventures is a story conceived by Tommy Rosa based on a powerful dream he had as he was convalescing from an illness. In his dream, the unicorns taught Mr. Rosa the importance of having faith over fear. They told him to believe that he would be well again and to push fear away and replace that fear with faith in God. Mr. Rosa attributes this dream and the messages he received as instrumental in shaping his recovery. The power and message of unconditional love and hope stayed with Mr. Rosa for a long time. When he did finally recover, he wanted to share the dream by creating a story for children that would inspire them to love and to learn how to vanquish fear at an early age. Mr. Rosa and Michelle Christopher, his wife, took the most important elements of the dream and wove them into a beautiful story of friendship, discovery and the power of love and faith.
